Materials required: 380 super fine lace and size 3 circular needles. It is a small piece that will get you acustomed to lace patterns and working with fine thread.

Top Down  Sweater.  Bring a small, medium, or large Teddy Bear, worsted weight yarn in 2 or 3 colors, and 2 circular needles appropriate to the yarn you will be using.  Pattern provided.  We will discuss the top down knitting techniques and how to take measurements for sweaters that actual fit. Bring a pencil, calculator, and pad of paper.  The good part of making a small sweater is that you can finish it during the class, practice all the techniques that apply to a people-sized sweater, and you can contribute to charity by donating your "dressed" bear to an organization that helps traumatized children.
