Leah’s First Scarf

Master the Basics: Leah’s First Scarf Beginner Workshop

Are you ready to bring your creative ideas to life? Fiber arts are a wonderful way to connect with others, and Leah’s First Scarf is the perfect project to launch your knitting journey. This comprehensive, two-day workshop is intentionally kept small—limited to just four students—to ensure you receive dedicated, one-on-one guidance as you learn.
Over two relaxed sessions, we will guide you through every stage of creating a beautiful, warm, and cozy scarf:
  • Day One: Getting Started – We’ll begin by exploring different yarn weights and mastering the essential long tail cast on. You'll dive into the knit stitch, learning to create a classic garter stitch pattern along with two other simple stitches.
  • Day Two: The Finish – Once your scarf reaches its desired length, you’ll learn how to create a basic buttonhole and a tidy bind off (cast off). We’ll wrap up by teaching you how to add stylish tassels for that perfect finishing touch.
Everything You Need is Included
We believe learning should be stress-free, so the cost of the class includes everything required for your project. You’ll receive a full kit featuring:
  • Shaniko Tweed Worsted Weight Yarn – A high-quality, beautiful fiber perfect for beginners.
  • The Complete Pattern – Easy-to-follow instructions to keep you on track.
  • Needles & Buttons – All the tools and notions needed to finish your masterpiece.
Whether you’re a complete novice or looking to refresh long-lost skills, this intimate lesson will give you the confidence to take on any future knitting project. To sign up or learn more, please join our email newsletter or send us a message today!
